Eye Care Beyond the Hospital
Amtali Modern Eye Hospital organizes community and field-based eye care activities to help people access screening, basic eye examinations and appropriate referral advice closer to where they live.
Our field camps also help identify patients who may need specialist consultation, cataract evaluation or further treatment at the hospital.

How Our Field Camps Work
Our outreach activities are designed to make the first step of eye care easier for local communities.
01. Screening
Initial eye screening and identification of common vision problems.
02. Referral
Patients needing specialist assessment are referred to the hospital for further evaluation.
03. Follow-up
Selected patients receive guidance on treatment, surgery planning and necessary follow-up.
Community Support for Cataract Patients
Initial patient selection for our support initiatives is carried out through field camps. Financially disadvantaged patients who are found to need cataract surgery may be considered for free cataract surgery support following specialist assessment and eligibility review.
